She Moves Me

Alongside my work as a spiritual director/companion, I have been a writer and a dance-theater artist. I'm currently working on a booklength project whose genre I call "body memoir" or "bodyspirit memoir." I'm exploring the body as a sacred site, an oracle. A place of spiritual and collective transmission.

I invite you to read smaller pieces of my writing, published online through Substack: Coming Through: Building a Body Memoir and Other Gestures of Faithfulness.

I've also published a chapbook, tiny rituals. If you'd like to obtain a copy, please let me know using this Contact form

My poems have been published in Rattle, Spillway, ONTHEBUS and Moving Pictures: Nine Los Angeles Poets. My essays have appeared in Under Her Skin: How Girls Experience Race in America and Discover Nikkei.

As a solo dance-theater artist, I've shared original works at the San Francisco Theater Festival, United States of Asian America Festival, Solo Performance Festival, For Colored Girls Only, and Stanford University.
